It is not a secret: The plans outlined above all utilize WP Engine for hosting. I have worked on WordPress sites for over a decade and I haven’t found a better value than WP Engine for hosting WordPress sites. In fact, I have partnered with them so that I can offer my clients exclusive discounts.
The plans above do include some of my time factored into the price, that is why they are more expensive. Ofter times, clients want to control their own hosting environment of their website independent of any one vendor, like myself. This gives them the most control over their codebase. Also, they may have the internal resources for content updates and monthly security updates that I offer in the plans above, so they don’t need to pay me for doing something they’re already doing internally.
If you’ve worked with me on developing your site and decided to host your site on your own, you have found the right place. Follow the link below for:

FAQ’s
Why is your website hosting more expensive?
Although my website hosting is not the cheapest that you can find, I do believe that it is the most value for your dollar. Over the years I have worked with countless vendors to find the best-in-class vendors and I have packages them together for a single price for you.
Do I have to pay annually?
You don’t have to, but if you want to switch to monthly billing there is a 20% upcharge. This is because there is more adminstration required for billing.
How are you alerted if my site goes down?
I contract a third-party service that provides site monitoring and I am notified the moment your site goes down. I am alerted via repeated email notifications and texts. I work to get your site up as quickly as possible.
Why do I have to pay for a one-time migration fee?
The migration fee is waived if I built your website and we are laucnhing with my hosting services. The migration fee covers time for me to migrate the code from the previous host, QA the code base to ensure that it is stable, and work with you or your IT team to switch the DNS to our servers.
Why aren't other third-party licenses included?
Each site is unique and requires different plugins and licenses based on the site’s functionality and setup. When we migrate your site over, we will identify necessary third-party licnenses and add those into your hosting fee.
How are overage fees charged?
The truth is that this rarely happens. I have setup the hosting packages so that you really don’t have to worry about the overages. The only thing that may happen is a small fee for if you go over your visitor quota. If you feel like you may need a larger quota, just let me know and I can work with you on preparing a more robust package for you.
Can I still get content updates with the premium plan?
Of course! If you only have a few site updates a year, just select the premium plan and email me whenever you need your site updated. I will bill you on an hourly basis for the content updates. All costs are clearly communicated before we proceed.
